In 2017, Intermèdia participated in the success of the candidature of Mª Eugènia Gay on the elections of the College of Advocacy of Barcelona. The fifteen members of her list also got to occupy all the charges that were being elected and formed the new governing board of July 2017. Gay, a lawyer specialized in civil procedural law, received a total of 3,800 votes and replaced Oriol Rusca at the front of the corporation.

The agency contributed to strengthen the story of Mª Eugènia Gay, it defined objectives that were focused on creating a community that is compatible with the sensitivity of the candidature and it devised a strategy that aimed to differentiate her from her adversaries. Gay wanted to win the deanship to represent the legitimate interests of the lawyers, and the messages written by Intermèdia demonstrated so, which promoted the image of the exercise of the profession on the street. Just like the slogan of the candidature announced: “We are people of now, we are like you“.
